Council will only collect and remove deceased animals if they are on Council land. Council do not collect and remove animals from VicRoads roads.
If on private land, it is the property owner's responsibility to arrange the disposal of the deceased animal.

Injured or sick wildlife

You can report injured or sick wildlife online at Wildlife Victoria or find help by using the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) online tool.

Raise a request

When submitting a request, provide as much detail as possible so we can assist you in processing your request. If possible, attach a photo of the issue you are reporting.
